What Makes a Good Project?
Projects must fall within the Snake River Region (refer to maps). Projects should generally improve one of the following conditions known as “limiting factors”:
- Sediment
- Instream habitat complexity
- Instream flow
- Fish screens
- Water temp
- Flood plain connectivity
- Fish passage
- Or an assessment to fill a data gap
But the possibilities don’t stop there. Past projects have ranged from riparian work on local rivers and streams to culvert removal along major tributaries to assessments of public interest in land trusts.
