The Snake River Salmon Recovery Board Regions
Prior to the development of the planning process, the state was divided into the following seven regions: Snake River, Northeast Washington, Upper Columbia Basin, Middle Columbia Basin, Lower Columbia River, Puget Sound, and the Washington Coast.
*The state designates Water Resource Inventory Areas or WRIA's to indicate the boundaries of watersheds, or areas of land through which water flows on or under en route to the ocean.
