WRIA 32 Spring Chinook

Data
Population Info
Spring Chinook caught at the WDFW Touchet River fish trap in the City of Dayton, WA from the year 2000 to current. Spring Chinook numbers presented above are considered partial counts due to past trap inefficiencies and early termination of trapping. In addition it is not known how many adults spawn below the existing trap. Deficiencies at the trap have been reduced and the trapping season has been extended which should result in more complete estimates of adult fish passing up river into the upper Touchet. The blue bars represent natural fish returning to the system, while the red bars represent hatchery fish with origins from outside of the Touchet basin.
Note: Spring Chinook are not listed as threatened species in the Touchet Rivers and the current population is occurring naturally.
